Up until this point, every yoke walk I did, I got myself set, braced hard, stood up with the implement, and then slowly plodded along. This time, the first pick up was like that, but on the second and third picks, I was just standing up and cruising since it felt so light. My muscles might've been fine, but clearly the ligaments had their way. It was definitely stupid of me, and a hard lesson learned.

I may end up doing something like that, but right now I want to step away from competition for a second and just focus on building up in the off season. I've really needed one, and this was a convenient way to force one on me.

Thanks for all the support.Emevashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983296057210465714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697863680879623092.post-83258354516961561812015-10-12T17:54:51.919-07:002015-10-12T17:54:51.919-07:00By the way, CONGRATS on taking second in that even...By the way, CONGRATS on taking second in that event. Looks like it's been one obstacle after another lately. Still, knowing your resolve and training smarts I'm sure it's a matter of when and not if you'll be back in competitive form soon, so I'm just looking forward to what you do to get there. Was there anything you did that made this foreseeable like trying to run with the implement or was this just one of those things?

Maybe consider entering the bench press portion of a powerlifting meet if you want to keep competing in something as you recover. Stay vigilant!Pow Pow Punishmenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16292926521809796190noreply@blogger.com
