Training Log: Entry 126
Stepped on a real scale today. Weighed in at 194. Reason to believe
1: My scale at home is not accurate
2: I am retaining water from creatine.
Possibly a combination of these factors.
I realized I was not taking enough creatine during my first cycle with
it. My scoop was not a teaspoon. At most, it was half of
one. Lets see if things will be different now.
First day of lifting in a month. Was amazed with how much
strength I still had. Was deadlift day. Things are going
smooth. Will post my routine after a full week.
Isn`t it wierd how strong you get after time off? It`s probably because you forget that heavy shit is bothersome to lift, and are just excited to get back into it.
ReplyDeletethanks a lot man.......I'm confused on what I should do because....all I want to gain is strenght right now ......ONLY strength...I dont care about definition or anything I just want to get stronger....but I heard that it makes you slower? Is that true? what should I do for just strenght?....I'd really appreciate it man thanks
ReplyDeleteStrength doesn't make you slower. Please find whoever told you that and beat them to death. We don't need that idiocy in the genepool. The way your body moves is through muscular contraction. To move faster, the muscles need to contract harder. To do that, they must be stronger. Thus, stronger muscles=FASTER body, not slower. To gain strenght, you wanna powerlift.http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dennis6.htmhttp://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/david3.htmThat'll point you in the right direction. If you don't want to gain weight, then just eat at maintenence, but make sure to get enough protein.
ReplyDeleteoh ok.....thanks a lot Jared I appreciate it man...it makes a lot of sense and those links you gave kick ass
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear that you weren't as light as you once thought. Maybe you will see more results with the right dosage of creatine. Glad to hear that your lifting session went well. It is so awesome that you are getting back to your routine after FT. You are doing great!!! Take care and keep up the hard work. I love you! ~aloha~
