Training Log: Entry 876

Bodyweight: 198.6

3.6lbs away from my goal, from there I'll evaluate.  My stomach is becoming very flat and defined, but my hips are still very wide and blocky, so there go my dreams for the olympia.

I sometimes have this problem with hips too lol, top bodybuilders have competed in olympia with wide hips/narrow shoulders etc. Top bodybuilders include Larry Scott, Dave Draper, Dennis Tinerino and I think Larry Scott won 2 olympias! lol, It helps if you:> Work lats more to widen upper back> Work the delts and shoulders more> Work the core but lay off from using lots of dumbbell side bends lolDoing this can kind of give the illusion of a V-taper especially if you have a low bf% to those bodybuildres with wide hips. A heck of a lot harder than those who are genetically predisposed to narrow hips, wide shoulders lol aka Frank Zane :)
