CONDITIONING
10 minutes on the BAS (20 seconds on/10 seconds off)
Notes: 90 seconds rest between sets. In between the set of 170 and 200 on the log, the bumpers I loaded on the log got stuck on the loading handle, and I spent a good 10 minutes wrestling them off. Took a lot of energy in a humid garage, and eventually had to break out the hand sledge to pound them off. None of the equipment damaged, but it took a bit out of me. My groin/psoas/whatever held up pretty well today, and I was able to actually get a stretch on the ab wheel, but the topset of log was still a bit shakey. Went after it twice to see if I could make it happen, but it wasn't to be. After that point, I was fried, and when I attempted my second set of axle strict press, I blacked out. Vision went faded, the music I was listening on the stereo started skipping, the whole shebang. I racked it, cut it out of the giant set, came back later and got it. Because my press volume was low for the day, I threw in the DB pressing into the assistance work. I liked having it there: it may become a staple.
Workout went WAY longer than it should have with that long wrestling match, and I was dead. I may need to increase the calories in my pre-training meal. Now that I've eliminated pretty much the last bit of junk I was allowing myself, things are pretty slim.
