  1. Man, I'm never doing seated overhead work again after two accidents. Why not standing dumbbells?

  2. Seems like a higher risk of fucking up my back shoulder, as I would need to focus on stabilizing both my shoulder and my core/legs versus just the shoulder with seated.  I can't see myself getting much reasonable poundage on it.

  3. It's definitely true that you're not as strong as you are seated, but it's so much easier to bail out if you feel them falling the wrong way. I'm not saying my experience applies perfectly to everyone but be careful, man.

  4. I will definitely keep in mind, and I am still on the fence.  Since this is my own gym though, bailing will simply be dropping them, haha.

  5. It's just that the bench will prevent you from moving backwards to get out of a spot. Though it seems like you're thinking of pressing on just a flat bench and not one of those gym ones with back support like I was.

  6. Nah, I actually would use a back supported one.  I just recently acquired one.  I'm still on the fence, since I hate cleaning dumbbells, haha.
