Training Log: Entry 347

Grip and neck work.

Repitition method for the Captains of Crush #1

Right hand
24,9,6

Lefthand
19,8,4-5

Note: Amazed at the progress on this. Last rep of left hand was questionable. Need to pull away from the thigh and use better protocol. Still, glad to see rep method is working.

Neck crunches with 45lbs
10,10,10

Note: Not sure if I want to up the resistance. Might just up the reps. Feeling strong.

  1. Hey Em, would you recommend Trainers or #1's, assuming I have a fairly strong but untrained grip?

  2. A neck crunch is taking a weight plate (and preferably a towel), placing it in your forehead, laying down on a bench with your neck hanging over the end, and using your neck to crunch upward. 
    If you have $40, get both.  Using both the trainer and the 1 will get you great results.  If you only have money for one, get the 1.
